Work.
The diner has been a good place from me to escape from everything. It seems simplistic, but I find the greatest time I have out of my weeks are spent at work. I’m really happy I’ve found a place I truely enjoy working. I’ve had jobs I’ve really hated for the past few years.
I’ve been learning to cook, which I’m really excited about. I feel lucky because I’m granted informal training by formally trained chefs. Its all on the fly, but its thorough.
The mom-and-pop atmosphere is really what I think makes it such an easy place to work. Everyone works a lot and cares about everyone that works there. I didn’t feel that way at all at Lucky.
Anyways, I don’t really know why I’m blogging this. I’m sure none of you guys really cared about any of that. I probably should have posted more stupid videos or talked about something I did when I was wasted, but I’m having trouble doing that right now. So, for all of you who read thus far I’m sorry. I promise I’ll post something of much less substance and much quicker to scroll over in your browser of choice tomorrow.
Right now, that’s all I’ve got.
